Thai Suki sauce short for Sukiyaki sauce, or in Thai “Nam Jim Suki” ( น้ำจิ้มสุกี้ ) is a red to brownish sour-spicy sauce used for Thai hotpots and other dishes.

The name Sukiyaki is borrowed from the Japanese hotpot dish of the same name, which has a completely different flavor profile. The main ingredient of the sauce, however, comes from Chinese cuisine - it is red fermented tofu.

Thai Sukiyaki sauce is available as an instant product from various manufacturers, but you can also prepare it yourself relatively easily.
